The line notes in music are the notes that you see on the lines of a staff. The line actually goes straight through the note.
Whenever someone is talking about line notes, this is what they are referring to.
The notes on those lines have specific names in different clefs.
In treble clef, the lines are E-G-B-D-F.
The treble clef symbol has a spiral-shaped “belly” that wraps around the second line of the staff.
What’s special about this line is that any note placed here is G. That is why the treble clef can also be called the G-Clef.

For bass clef, the lines are G-B-D-F-A.
Notice how the two dots of the bass clef sign surrounds the fourth line of the staff. This line is extra special because any note written here is F.
Hence, another name for bass clef is F-Clef.
Ledger line notes are also considered line notes.
The notes located in the spaces in between the ledger lines are called space notes.
